Baseball Game Preview: Lake Country Lutheran Lightning vs. Lakeside Lutheran Warriors

The Lake Country Lutheran Lightning are taking a road trip to challenge the Lakeside Lutheran Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Lake Country Lutheran 3.2, Lakeside Lutheran 2.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Lake Country Lutheran is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Milwaukee Lutheran 19-0 on Saturday. The win continues a trend for the Lightning in their matchups with the Red Knights: they've now won seven in a row.

Gabe Snyder was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four RBI and one run. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Oksiuta, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

Lake Country Lutheran always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .757. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Lakeside Lutheran ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They came out on top against Poynette by a score of 7-2. Winning may never get old, but the Warriors sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Lake Country Lutheran's record now sits at 12-4. As for Lakeside Lutheran, their record is now 13-5.
