Softball Recap: Tokay Makes It Seven in a Row at Home

There's no place like home for Tokay, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They never let the Chavez Titans get on the board and left with an 11-0 win on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won ten games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Hannah Nava 2025 was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI, one run, and one double. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ava Pasqualicchio 2028, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.

Tokay was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .600. They are 11-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Tokay's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-8. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Chavez, they now have a losing record of 10-11.

Coincidentally, Tokay and Chavez will both be playing Edison the next time they take the field. The Tigers will head out to face the Vikings at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Titans will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
