Basketball Recap: Valor Preparatory Academy Owls vs. Piedmont Community Charter Patriots

The Valor Preparatory Academy Owls lost 77-54 to the Piedmont Community Charter Patriots. The Owls just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Piedmont Community Charter to victory, but perhaps none more so than Henry Peprah, who went 7 of 15 on his way to 16 points in addition to eight steals and six boards. Those eight steals gave Peprah a new career-high. John Carmichael was another key player, going 8 for 16 en route to 20 points along with eight rebounds and six assists.
Valor Preparatory Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Piedmont Community Charter, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-9.
