Volleyball Preview: Patoka Warriors vs. Brownstown/St. Elmo Eagles
The Patoka Warriors will head out to challenge the Brownstown/St. Elmo Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Patoka was dominant in the second set, but otherwise had just enough against a tough First Baptist Academy squad. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-11.
Meanwhile, Brownstown/St. Elmo had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They won by a set and slipped past the Cougars 2-1.
If you add up the scores from across all three sets (59-53) Brownstown/St. Elmo actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 13-25, 25-21, 15-13.
Brownstown/St. Elmo found their leader in underclassman Maya Barker, who had 12 digs and two aces. That's the most aces Barker has posted in her last eight games.
The victory got Patoka back to even at 8-8. As for Brownstown/St. Elmo, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.
