After losing to String Theory the last time they met, Academy at Palumbo decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Academy at Palumbo Griffin blew past String Theory, posting a 73-41 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Griffin.

Matthew Brown had a dynamite game for Academy at Palumbo, putting up 25 points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Taj Medley, who posted 13 points in addition to six boards and three steals.
