Softball Recap: San Saba Comes Up Short

San Saba fell victim to Johnson City and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 18-0 to the Eagles. The Armadillos were not able to make up for their loss to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

San Saba has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season. As for Johnson City, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-1-2.

While San Saba had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
