North Florida Christian hasn't had much luck against Leon recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The North Florida Christian Eagles will look to defend their home court against the Leon Lions at 6:00 p.m. North Florida Christian will be strutting in after a victory while Leon will be coming in after a loss.

On Saturday, North Florida Christian earned a 46-38 win over Maclay.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Leon faced off against Godby on Saturday. Leon had to suffer through a 55-15 loss at the hands of Godby. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Leon's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for North Florida Christian, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Things could have been worse for North Florida Christian, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 53-39 loss to Leon when the teams last played back in December of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Leon's Tanner Owens, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 12 rebounds.
