After losing to Huntingdon the last time they met, Tyrone decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Golden Eagles came out on top against the Bearcats by a score of 4-1 on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Golden Eagles.

Eli Woomer looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three).

At the plate, Tyrone saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was L Hamer, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Another was Lincoln Shirey, who scored a run and stole three bases while going 1-for-3.

Tyrone's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Huntingdon, they moved to 5-2 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Coming up, Tyrone will be playing at home against Mount Union at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Huntingdon, they will head out on the road to challenge Chestnut Ridge at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bearcats are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
