Taylor County waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Pulaski County Maroons. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cardinals also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2018.

Taylor County's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-5. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Pulaski County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-16-2.

Looking ahead, Taylor County will host Boyle County at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pulaski County, they will square off against Caldwell County at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
