Football Recap: South Holt Takes a Loss

South Holt lost against South Nodaway back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The game between the Knights and the Longhorns didn't end well, with the Knights falling 62-44. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why South Holt lost, don't look at Coltyn Fansher. Despite the final result, he threw for 310 yards and five TDs. A healthy portion of that aerial production (104 yards to be exact) went to Will Jackson, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

South Holt's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for South Nodaway, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-5.

South Holt wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 56-6 defeat against Nodaway Valley co-op [West Nodaway/Nodaway-Holt] on the 24th. As for South Nodaway, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 56-34 victory against Stewartsville on the 24th.
