Volleyball Recap: Greensboro Day School Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home + How To Watch

After flying high against Gaston Christian on Friday, Greensboro Day School came back down to earth. The Bengals lost 3-0 to the Grace Christian Crusaders on Monday.

While Greensboro Day School ultimately came up short, they really made Grace Christian work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 27-25, 25-22.

Grace Christian found their leader in sophomore Gracie Canaday, who had 12 digs and four assists. Those 12 digs set a new season-high mark for Canaday.

Greensboro Day School's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-2. As for Grace Christian, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greensboro Day School will venture away from home to take on Davidson Day at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Grace Christian, they will head out to challenge John Paul II Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
