Recap: Reidsville Rams vs. Madison Patriots
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only The Reidsville Rams walked away with it. They took their game at home on Friday with ease, bagging a 58-0 victory over Madison. The win was familiar territory for Reidsville who now have seven in a row.
Reidsville got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was AL Lee out in front who threw for 258 yards and three touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes. Lee is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last four games he's played. Cam'Ron Jones was another key contributor, picking up 118 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Reidsville's victory was their 16th straight at home (dating back to last season), which pushed their record up to 10-1. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 33.75 points. As for Madison, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.
Reidsville will play host again and welcome West Stokes, where kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Madison does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
