Volleyball Recap: Mansfield Takes a Loss

Mansfield lost against Couch back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lions took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indians. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Devynn Ball paced Mansfield's offense, picking up four kills. Ball got some help from Addie Brooke and her nine assists. Brooke also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Jadalyn Coble, each putting up three.

Mansfield's defeat dropped their record down to 8-25. As for Couch, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-9-1.

As of now, neither Mansfield nor the Indians have any future games scheduled.
