Basketball Recap: Utopian Academy for the Arts Takes a Loss

Utopian Academy for the Arts was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 21st straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 75-63 hit to the loss column at the hands of the McNair Mustangs.

Kente Taylor was nothing short of spectacular for McNair: he posted 19 points and six rebounds. Jyi'Shan Duffie was another key player, putting up ten points in addition to five boards and five steals.

Utopian Academy for the Arts' defeat dropped their record down to 0-19. As for McNair, their win ended a 21-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-16.

Utopian Academy for the Arts has already played their next matchup (against Social Circle), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. McNair will be playing at home against Lamar County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. McNair is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.9 points per game this season.
