The Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Spartans will challenge the Shenendehowa Plainsmen at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake is headed into Friday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Tuesday. They took a blow against Albany, falling 63-33. The Spartans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-16.

Meanwhile, Shenendehowa faced Shaker in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. Shenendehowa was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 55-54 to Shaker. It was the first time this season that the Plainsmen let down their fans at home.

Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Shenendehowa, their loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 11-4.

Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake took a serious blow against Shenendehowa in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 61-25. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake was down 32-11.
