Football Recap: White County Comes Up Short in High-Profile Matchup with Warren County

White County faced Warren County in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Warriors took a 20-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pioneers & Lady Pioneers. That makes it the first time this season the Warriors have let down their home crowd.

Despite the loss, White County saw an underclassman step up: freshman Sarah Kate Winfree picked up 37 receiving yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 41 yards.
