Basketball Game Preview: Green vs. East Side Community

Green hasn't had much luck against East Side Community recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. Green will be home for the holidays to greet East Side Community at 4:30 p.m. One thing working in Green's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

Green will bounce into Tuesday's matchup after beating NEST+m, who they had gone 0-5 against in their five prior meetings. Green claimed a resounding 92-41 victory over NEST+m. Green has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 26 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, East Side Community didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Clinton School on Friday, but they still walked away with a 59-55 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for East Side Community.

East Side Community pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.3 points per game. As for Green, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.

Green came up short against East Side Community in their previous matchup back in January, falling 77-73. Can Green avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
