La Pine got themselves on the board against Pleasant Hill on Friday, but Pleasant Hill never followed suit. They walked away with a 4-0 victory over the Billies. The win continues a trend for the Hawks in their matchups with the Billies: they've now won four in a row.

La Pine let Davey Taylor and Dayton Wilkinson run wild. Taylor went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double, while Wilkinson got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run. Taylor has become a key player for La Pine: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 4-7 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Bryson Adams, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run.

The victory got La Pine back to even at 7-7. As for Pleasant Hill, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-7-1.
