Softball Recap: Cimarron Comes Up Short

Cimarron managed to slip by Larned the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Cimarron lost 22-7 to Larned on Monday. The Bluejays were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Indians earlier this season, when they won 6-5.

Isabella Cofer made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Presley Glenn, who scored a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Cimarron's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Larned, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, Cimarron will challenge Southwestern Heights at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Larned, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Lyons at 4:00 p.m.
