             Starmount hasn't had much luck against Mount Airy recently, but that could start to change  on Friday. The Starmount Rams will venture away from home to  challenge the Mount Airy Granite Bears  at 7:00  p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Starmount comes in on seven and Mount Airy on 28.
 Starmount is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Friday. They strolled past South Stanly with  points to spare, taking the game  37-19.
 Starmount got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Jymir Billips out in front who rushed for 110 yards and a touchdown.  Luke Collins was in the mix  as well, providing Starmount with two touchdowns.
 Starmount was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 303  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 151  rushing yards in seven consecutive  contests.
 Starmount didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as  Kinston Crater,  Collins,  and  Sam Shore picked up one apiece. Crater's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 108  rushing yards.
 Meanwhile, Mount Airy made easy work of Mountain Island Charter  on Friday and carried off  a  35-14 win. Considering the Granite Bears have won ten games by more than 20  points this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Mount Airy pushed their record up to 12-0 with the  victory, which was their 17th straight  at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 41.6 points. As for Starmount, their record is now 11-1.
 Starmount couldn't quite finish off Mount Airy in their previous meeting  back in September and fell  17-14. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of  Mount Airy's  Taeshon Martin, who rushed for 175 yards and a touchdown.
