Softball Recap: Mandarin Takes a Loss

Mandarin lost against Baldwin back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mandarin Mustangs lost 13-3 to the Baldwin Indians. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ryleigh Booth was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.

Mandarin now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Baldwin, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Mandarin will host Nease at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mandarin is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.4 runs per game this season. As for Baldwin, they are taking a road trip to take on Atlantic Coast at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Baldwin also hasn't been messing around on offense: they've averaged 8.8 runs per game.
