Lorain dropped their record down to 4-7 on Thursday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins. They lost 11-2 to the North Olmsted Eagles. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Titans couldn't push the score so high this time.

As for North Olmsted, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games.

For North Olmsted's part, Tyler Zatta spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on five hits and racked up 15 Ks.

On the hitting side, Luke Healan was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and one stolen base. Darren Krider was another key player, going 1-for-5 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lorain will welcome Shaker Heights at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for North Olmsted, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Wickliffe at 12:00 p.m. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Blue Devils have averaged an impressive 11.4 runs per game this season.
