Basketball Recap: Cherokee Takes a Loss

Cherokee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 48-35 to the Athens Bible Trojans. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 39-28 back in December of 2024.

Cherokee's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Athens Bible, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-9 record.

Cherokee has already played their next matchup (against Waterloo), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Athens Bible has already played their next game, a 68-36 victory against Huntsville Christian Academy on the 14th.
