Volleyball Recap: Eustace Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Eustace came tearing into Thursday's match with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Lone Oak Buffaloes. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bulldogs have posted since August 31, 2024.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Eustace who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-21, 19-25, 15-7.

Madison Truitt paced Eustace's offense, picking up 14 kills. Truitt got some help from Landry Huggins and her 19 assists. Huggins was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Eustace's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Lone Oak, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Eustace didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Commerce on the 15th. As for Lone Oak, they have also already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Ford on the 15th.
