Baseball Game Preview: East Union Urchins vs. Eupora Eagles + Official Tickets

For the second straight game, East Union will face off against Eupora. The Urchins will head out to challenge the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The last four games East Union has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

East Union is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 12-11 victory over Eupora. That's two games straight that the Urchins have won by just one run.

East Union let Chase Johnson and Ethan Lamontagne run wild. Johnson went 2-for-4 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one double, while Lamontagne went 3-for-4 with four runs and one double. Those four runs gave Lamontagne a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kade Treadaway, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one run.

East Union was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .382. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Eupora's loss dropped their record down to 20-13. As for East Union, their win bumped their record up to 16-12.
