Basketball Recap: Bloomfield Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Bloomfield entered their matchup against Loogootee on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Bloomfield Cardinals took a 43-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Loogootee Lions. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Cardinals came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 100th, while the Lions are ranked 243rd).

Bloomfield's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-5. As for Loogootee, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Bloomfield will square off against North Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Loogootee, they are taking a road trip to face off against South Knox at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
