Winamac never let their opponents score on Monday. They blew past the Tri-Township Tigers 18-0. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on Lauren Bruce, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one double. That's the most runs she has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Makayla Werner, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Winamac always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .595. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Tri-Township only posted an OBP of .062.

Winamac's win bumped their record up to 19-6. As for Tri-Township, their loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-14.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Winamac will venture away from home to square off against Triton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Tri-Township, they will take on DeMotte Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
