Baseball Recap: Council Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Council's offense. They came up short against the East Ridge Warriors on Wednesday, falling 24-0. The Cobras' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Council saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landon Wilson, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Council's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for East Ridge, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-8 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Council will square off against Twin Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for East Ridge, they will face off against Pike County Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
