Softball Recap: Lakewood Tigers vs. Columbine Rebels
Lakewood lost against Columbine back in September, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lakewood Tigers came up short against the Columbine Rebels, falling 17-4. The Tigers have struggled against the Rebels recently, as their game on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Lakewood saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dyani Parrish, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Lakewood's defeat dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Columbine, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-6.
As of now, neither Lakewood nor Columbine have any future games scheduled.
