Baseball Recap: Rogers Takes a Loss

Rogers was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 13-2 to the Springfield Blue Devils.

Jo'Zeiah Hodges-Harris made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two doubles and one RBI. Those doubles were his first of the season.

Rogers' loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Springfield, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rogers will square off against Waite at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Springfield, they will face off against Southview at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Blue Devils are facing the Cougars at the right time seeing as the Cougars are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
