Bloomfield has gone 8-2 against Gallup recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Bobcats are taking a road trip to face off against the Bengals at 4:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Bloomfield's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They blew past Shiprock 10-0. The victory continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Chieftains: they've now won five in a row.

Wyatt Etcitty and Trae Woods were a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Etcitty tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Woods pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. At the plate, Etcitty went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run, while Woods went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run. That home run was Etcitty's first of the season.

In other batting news, Ryan Page and AJ Valencia did most of the damage at the plate: Page scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2, while Valencia scored a run while going 3-for-3. Those three hits gave Valencia a new career-high. Johnny Yates was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one home run.

Bloomfield always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .556. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Shiprock only posted an OBP of .250.

Meanwhile, Gallup didn't have quite enough to beat Kirtland Central on Thursday and fell 12-11.

Bloomfield's record now sits at 12-4. As for Gallup, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-11.

Bloomfield took their win against Gallup in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 15-0 score. Will the Bobcats repeat their success, or do the Bengals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
