Football Recap: Castle Park Trojans vs. Rock Academy Warriors

Castle Park extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 1-3. They lost to the Rock Academy Warriors on the road by a 55-40 margin. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Despite the loss, Castle Park still got an impressive performance from Evan Lopez, who rushed for 94 yards and four TDs on only ten carries, and also threw for 127 yards on only 11 passes.

As for Rock Academy, the victory got them back to even at 2-2. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

It was another big night for Zayden Campbell, who rushed for 326 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 18.1 yards per carry. Those three rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Alec Endicott, who threw for 207 yards and five TDs on only 18 passes.

Castle Park didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 32-23 defeat against El Cajon Valley on the 19th.
