Aptos had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Scotts Valley Falcons as they made off with a 38-13 victory. Considering the Mariners have won five contests by more than 19 points this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Despite the loss, Scotts Valley still got an impressive performance from Jazzy Phillips, who threw for 267 yards and a pair of TDs.

Aptos' win bumped their record up to 10-5-1. As for Scotts Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.

Aptos has already played their next game, a 30-2 victory against Harbor on the 22nd. As for Scotts Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 26-20 defeat against Soquel on the 22nd.
