Grapevine extended their postseason success on Saturday against Lubbock-Cooper. They came out on top against the Pirates by a score of 13-8. Winning may never get old, but the Mustangs sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Grapevine's win bumped their record up to 33-3. As for Lubbock-Cooper, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 31-16.

Coming up, Grapevine will face off against Lovejoy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Leopards will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last. Lubbock-Cooper does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
