Volleyball Recap: Middleburgh Starts Season with Loss on the Road + How To Watch

Middleburgh had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against the Fonda-Fultonville Valley Hawks on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Knights in their meetings with the Valley Hawks: they've now lost six in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-17, 25-9.

Fonda-Fultonville was led to victory by Karina DeMallie and Onaleah Egelston. DeMallie had 18 assists and three aces, while Egelston had six kills and three aces. That's the most kills Egelston has posted over her last three matchups.

Fonda-Fultonville's win bumped their record up to 7-3-2.
