Basketball Game Preview: Calvary Day Cavaliers vs. Long County Blue Tide

The Calvary Day Cavaliers will face off against the Long County Blue Tide at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Calvary Day knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten matchups -- so hopefully Long County likes a good challenge.

Calvary Day took a loss when they played away from home last Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 66-54 victory over Beach.

Meanwhile, Long County had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They strolled past the Rebels with points to spare, taking the game 59-40.

Calvary Day pushed their record up to 11-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.7 points per game. As for Long County, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.
