Volleyball Recap: Dugger Union Bulldogs vs. North Knox Warriors

Dugger Union unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the North Knox Warriors by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Dugger Union took North Knox into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking four-point loss. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-16, 10-25, 21-25, 15-11.

Isabella Cole paced Dugger Union's offense, picking up 16 kills. Cole got some help from Abby Shepler and her 21 assists. Cole was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.
