Hackett entered their tilt with Brookland on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Bearcats.

Michaelyn Freeman paced Hackett's offense, picking up 17 kills. Freeman got some help from Catelyn Edwards and her 24 assists. Freeman also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Kali Reather, each putting up two.

Hackett's win bumped their record up to 16-3-2. As for Brookland, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-8-1.

Hackett has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Valley View on the 27th. As for Brookland, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Paragould on the 29th.
