Soccer Recap: Pusch Ridge Christian Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Safford last Friday, Pusch Ridge Christian Academy came back down to earth. The Pusch Ridge Christian Academy Lions fell just short of the Catalina Trojans by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Pusch Ridge Christian Academy's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-8. As for Catalina, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-2-2.

Pusch Ridge Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-2 draw against Tanque Verde on the 29th. As for Catalina, they have also already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Palo Verde on the 29th.
