Football Recap: Desales Piles Up the Points Against Bishop Brossart + How To Watch

It looked like the Kentucky Derby when DeSales took on Bishop Brossart on Friday. The Colts simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Mustangs 35-7. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Colts.

It was another big night for Cameron Bischoff, who rushed for 80 yards and two TDs on only six carries, and also threw for 187 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Those 80 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Caleb Choate, who rushed for 76 yards and one score on only nine carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: DeSales was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 215 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

The victory got DeSales back to even at 3-3. As for Bishop Brossart, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. DeSales will welcome Christian Academy-Louisville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Centurions' defense has only allowed 11.8 points per game this season, so the Colts' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Bishop Brossart, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Holy Cross at 7:00 p.m. on October 10.
