Basketball Recap: Riverdale Comes Up Short

Riverdale suffered their biggest loss since January 25th on Saturday. They came up short against the Portland Adventist Academy Cougars, falling 67-46. The match marked the Mavericks' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Riverdale and nudges their season record down to 3-2. As for Portland Adventist Academy, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Riverdale will head out to face off against Oregon Episcopal at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Oregon Episcopal will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Riverdale surely won't give up without a fight. As for Portland Adventist Academy, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Portland Adventist Academy Cougars take on the Clatskanie Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
