Preview: North Thurston vs. Shelton
After two weeks on the road, North Thurston is heading back home. On Friday they will take on Shelton at 7:00 PM. North Thurston come in off of six low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the squad is obviously eager to reverse.
It was all tied up at halftime, but North Thurston weren't quite Timberline's equal in the second half when they met last Friday. North Thurston were dealt a punishing 0-35 defeat at the hands of Timberline.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Shelton, and their matchup last Friday only extended their streak of losses to eight. They took a serious blow against Yelm, falling 6-49. Shelton were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-42.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Neither squad could put together much of an offensive attack, so expect every point to count.
