 Seagoville is 9-1 against Spruce since April of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Friday. The Seagoville Dragons will look to defend their home field  against the Spruce Timberwolves at 5:00  p.m. Seagoville is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.
 Last Tuesday, Seagoville made easy work of Spruce  and carried off  an  8-2 win. The  victory was just what Seagoville needed coming off of  an  8-0 loss in their prior  match.
  Carlos Silva made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He  struck out eight batters over  3.2 innings while giving up   no  earned run off   one  hit (and not a single walk). Silva was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-5 with three  RBI, a  triple,  and a  run.
 In other batting news,  Reese Wilson was  excellent,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Willie Brown, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 1-for-3.
 Seagoville's win bumped their record up to 6-16. As for Spruce, they now  have a losing record at 8-9.
