Basketball Recap: Hebron Takes a Loss

Hebron lost against Little Elm back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hebron Hawks were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 40-39 to the Little Elm Lobos. The Hawks' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it six in a row.

Raniyah Hunt was the offensive standout of the match as she went 6 of 10 on her way to 16 points. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Shiloh Kimpson was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Hebron's loss dropped their record down to 10-18. As for Little Elm, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-21.

Hebron will head out on the road to face off against Lewisville at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Hebron is facing Lewisville at the right time seeing as Lewisville is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Little Elm, they will host Guyer at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Guyer has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 186 points over their last three contests.
