Case entered their tilt with Hampshire Regional on Saturday with 13 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 14. They never let the Raiders get on the board and left with a 7-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Cardinals, who have now won 11 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Case's victory bumped their record up to 16-1. As for Hampshire Regional, they moved to 12-5 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Case and Hampshire Regional should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Massachusetts Rankings. The Cardinals will square off against Middleborough at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday with a big rank advantage (4 vs. 95). The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Case 2.2, the Sachems 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Hampshire Regional (ranked ninth) will meet Pittsfield (ranked 163rd) at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
