Faith Christian's loss came despite strong showings from Beau Bravo and John Whitmore. Bravo posted six points, while Whitmore had seven points and six rebounds.

Faith Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. As for James River, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-2.
