Baseball Recap: Bradley-Bourbonnais Has No Trouble Against Kankakee

Bradley-Bourbonnais barely beat Kankakee the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Bradley-Bourbonnais put the hurt on Kankakee with a sharp 14-1 win on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Boilermakers, who have now won three contests by 13 runs or more so far this season.

Liam Martin tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over five innings pitched.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Cody Freitas, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. He has become a key player for Bradley-Bourbonnais: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 1-2 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Kason Bynum, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.
