Volleyball Recap: Cheshire's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Cheshire had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They came out on top against the Xavier Falcons by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in April.

The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 21-25, 25-18, 25-16.

Jacob D'Addona paced Cheshire's offense, picking up ten kills. D'Addona got some help from Bradley Fang and his 14 assists. Finally, Thomas Superchi kept Cheshire's defense grounded, leading the team with seven blocks.

Xavier's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ethan Tran, who had 12 digs. Lucas Harkins also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

Cheshire pushed their record up to 11-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Xavier, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-9.

Cheshire didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Southington on the 14th. As for Xavier, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Amity Regional on the 14th.
