Baseball Recap: Mumford Comes Up Short

Renaissance hit Mumford with a 11-run third inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Mustangs lost 17-1 to the Phoenix. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Phoenix recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Mumford's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Renaissance, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-3.
