Volleyball Recap: Rockledge Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Rockledge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bayside Bears. The Raiders were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bears from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Rockledge sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-21, 11-25, 25-19, 22-25, 15-8.

Despite the loss, Rockledge saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jasmine White had 11 digs and two aces.

Rockledge's defeat dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Bayside, their victory ended a seven-match drought on the road and puts them at 7-16.

Rockledge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Cocoa on the 7th. As for Bayside, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Astronaut on the 7th.
